mySim – GeriCare is our skills trainer designed with Aged Care at the centre, for the specific practice of a range of clinical skills. Healthcare professionals, patients, families and carers alike can train hands-on to develop and sharpen their skills in these delicate procedures.
The trainer comes complete with:
- • 2 x Aged Female Genitalia. All genitalia are soft, pliable, and have a hidden urethral opening requiring a correct technique to identify and open.
- • Stoma Pad to practice and demonstrate Stoma and Ostomy Care. The stoma pad allows for the practice of measurement, care, cleaning and the application and removal of an Ostomy Pouch.
- • SupraPubic Catheter Pad to practice the care, maintenance and cleaning of SupraPubic Catheters, G-Tubes and PEG tubes.
mySim – GeriCare provides a lifelike representation of anatomy, allowing users to repeatedly practice every step of the procedures.
